Unofficial News Below It has been a while since our last shindig and I have been itching for another LANdemonium. People have asked, pleaded, begged, and now we are bringing a big LAN party back to Springfield, IL. Right now we are looking at a date of October 9th & 10th. I like the 2 day events much better since everyone is pretty worn down by Sunday anyway. We should be joining I-Con again this year making it a complete nerd-a-thon spectacular!

whats our maximum capacity, we've been dual hosting with ofalLan and switching off every month, seems like we have been getting good numbers of people, hitting 25-30 each time. If we want big, I shall deliver big

By the way, it is official now. He is what I want to do. Springfield is a nice central location in Illinois and we have not seen a big blow out LAN party here. I would like to have LANs from around the state meet here to face off. Big would be great. I am thinking your LAN, Magic LAN, and others. We are still in the planning stages and I have requested space for 60 people for our LAN. If we think there will be more, we will have the space. |

that sounds good, i've already started contacting ofalLan and MOAL people, just keep up posted on the date and any information and we will come. as far as i am aware there are not any more large lans in this part of the state, ill see if i cant find any more south. try midwestlanparty.com their forums have a lot of lans from northern illinois |

Will do. There is also a LAN in mechanicsburg that pulls about 30 people. I will contact them as well. |

Defeat knows them a lot better than I do. Speaking of that. Defeat old buddy old pal, you wouldn't mind asking them if they want to hold a LAN with us do you? |

Does leo still do the game center at BLH? might want to send him a shout. rewrite this for me and I will add it to craigslist: October 9th & 10th Computer gaming at one location. Bring your own pc, mouse, keyboard, network cable, monitor and a pair of headphones and enjoy playing videogames with people in Springfield, il. Going to a lan adds an extra ammount of excitment by letting you play some of the best games computers have to offer and allowing you to play them with somone who is right next to you. Consoles may already have this feature, but a PC has so many more features that make is hands down the best system for any type of videogame.
