So I got my Netflix DVD in the mail and I popped it in my computer.
Won't read.
Ejected, put it back in.
Won't read.
Ugh, some times my computer is goofy and won't read stuff until I reboot, so I rebooted.
Still won't read
Eject and insert again.
Won't read
Now I'm thinking my DVD drive has finally bit the dust after hundreds... possibly thousands of discs through it.
So I pop in my Left 4 Dead 2 DVD and bam, reads fine.
Wtf?
So I FINALLY flipped the Netflix DVD over to examine it.
















Remember, always check the most likely things first
It's completely cracked. But the art on the front of the DVD covers it up, so you can't see it from the label side. Doh!
The DVD-RW drive lives to pirate read another day!

Had that happen to me before, in addition to discs just never showing up.

I've had 2 discs never show up. This is my first damaged one.
At least Netflix is prompt about fixing it. The replacement disc should be here today.
