 Official News for the Event Date: October 9th – 10th running 6pm Friday – 12am Saturday non-stop Location: Microchip Computer Solutions 2657 West Lawrence Springfield, IL 62704 Cost: $10 The eighth iteration of Springfield’s premier LAN Party is upon us! Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4, and Left 4 Dead will be a few of the many games played this year. There will also be an organized tournament on Saturday night (game to be announced). Given Springfield’s central location in Illinois, we will have several LANs from around the state meeting at LANdemonium to duke it out. We will be able to accommodate 40+ gamers. The goal is to make this the biggest and best LAN yet. Along with your PC, feel free to bring a nice chair, game server, projector, disco ball, talking monkey, or other fun equipment. Remember, this is meant to a party and the more fun the better. Case Mod ContestThe case mod contest is back! We want to see your computer creations. Bring out anything cool you have made that is related to a computer. Items will judged based on creativity and quality of work. Prizes to be announced. Sustenance Feel free to bring in your own food and drink, but we will be selling snacks and drinks including bawls, ski, puppy chow, and chips. SleepFeel free to crash at the event.

Re: Official News for the Event We hoped to hold our next LANdemonium event this weekend at MCS but that will not be the case. We are unable to get enough tables and chairs to hold everyone. Also, lack of interest on the forums has let us to believe that the event would not be well attended and we would rather not do an event that was not fun for everyone. I apologize to those who were excited to go to this event but I had to make a decision and I feel it is for the best. Please let us know on the forums if you have any feedback.
